Important notice regarding installation

Our Rimgard locks will most likely fit your wheels nicely, but please be aware that wheel designs vary and sometimes the lock simply is not compatible.

Prior to installing your Rimgard wheel locks, take a look at the rim and evaluate if there is anything in the design that will prevent the lock from a nice and flush fit, such as a very concave or convex rim design.

Proceed gently and make sure no painted/treated surface of the rim is in direct contact with the Rimgard module. Simply put, any area of the rim that is supposed to look nice and unscratched without Rimgard on it, the Rimgard module should not make contact with. The module should only rest against the rim center hole, where the center cap used to be.

Should it look uncertain to install Rimgard without causing damage to the rim, do not install prior to contacting info@rimgard.com and attaching photos of the rim – we will happily advice.

In the unfortunate event that you are not able to install your Rimgard locks for any reason connected to the above, please contact us and we´ll provide you with a prepaid return shipping label and we will refund your purchase as soon as we receive the locks (undamaged) in return.

Never use Rimgard wheel lock without a locking cylinder, i.e. do not install the modules without also inserting the locking cylinder (see instruction manual for parts description).

Rimgard does not accept responsibility for errors made by the customer when installing and/or using the product and potential damage to the rim and/or the car caused by incorrect installation. The customer must always be careful and observe caution when installing the product on his/her rim and is ultimately responsible for a correct installation.
