But does it fit my Volkswagen?
A mapping of what VW models, rims and years are compatible with our wheels locks is in progress. The Rimgard wheel lock is compatible with a large proportion of Volkswagen cars. Contact us and let us know what car model and year you have, along with a picture of your rims, and we'll let you know if your wheels are compatible.
The car models that we have mainly investigated so far, of which a majority of wheels are compatible with Rimgard, are Tiguan, Passat, Touareg and Golf. Some rims require a modification of the locks. Please note that Rimgard for Volkswagen is not compatible with the original Volkswagen centre cap, you will receive Rimgard-branded caps with your set instead.

Durability and resistance
Salt snow dirt
No problem, the lock is quality tested by TüV Austria. The locking cylinder is bottomless enabling rinsing or high pressure air cleaning of dust or foreign particles.
Brute force
Rimgard is made from high resistant 6082 aluminum alloy that is hard to drill, saw or break as it becomes tough when worked. The amount force needed will make so much noise and most likely destroy the rim too, making the theft pointless.
Picking the lock
The time a thief has to pick four Rimgard locks, even for a pro with special skill and tools, is simply not enough. In bad lighting, on your knees and under stress - there are a lot easier targets around.
